I know exactly what you are talking about and think about it everyday. I am a small business owner and learned what I learned because I took an opportunity to come way. What I learned enabled me to go into business, but being good enough to succeed quickly came from what I learned from my father and the help of some very good friends.

Things have gone south because of the economy and my skills aren't needed by most people. But, luck of the draw; I knew some people who knew some people and I was able to steer my skills into something that is in demand and I'm working on building my business back up, probably on those earnings, with the old and the new ventures combined.

I have to say also that I tell my kids all the time about the importance of treasuring relationships and people. My family was never around when I needed them most and I had to depend on people who believed in me enough to give me a hand here and there. I worked hard on those relationships, carefully cultivating the reciprocal love that is necessary to develop real friendships and allies in what is a very cruel, cold world.

But in spite of that, I still get bumps in the road but they are tampered by some dumb luck; some good opportunities that come my way.

It is important though to understand, as your essay highlights, that these are gifts and they should be treasured and treated well. Remembering what maybe got us where we are, even if its only one rung up the ladder, or even keeping us from falling back, helps us to give back whenever we take.

It also helps us to remember how we are all so tightly conjoined and how just a little bit from you sometimes when you can, to someone else, can make a huge difference. Just knowing where the next door is and pointing that out to someone is all they need, lending a hand, helping out.

Its how the many of us survive and its a beautiful thing also.

What if the American people woke up and understood that the official reasons for going to war are almost always based on lies and promoted by war propaganda in order to serve special interests?

smn, you would only be right if statistics were simple truths, if talent was absolute and it could be measured objectively, and if all positions of power were better covered by geniuses. None of these conditions apply.

Another thing I have noticed is the fact for many people, poor credit is the reaction to circumstances further than their control. One example is they may are already saddled with illness so that they have substantial bills for collections. It could be due to a job loss or the inability to work. Sometimes breakup can really send the funds in an opposite direction. Many thanks sharing your opinions on this web site.

Another recommendation in order to hone your natural writing talent in to more polished function might be to join the writing workshop, because of playwrights or writers in general. There may be one in your community for leisure and/or professional writers or you might be able to join one in class format at a nearby college. It's a fantastic way to get feedback upon and improve your writing, network, and see exactly what others in your area are producing.

One thing I have actually noticed is always that there are plenty of misguided beliefs regarding the banks intentions when talking about property foreclosures. One misconception in particular is that often the bank would like your house. The bank wants your dollars, not your home. They want the money they lent you with interest. Preventing the bank will only draw a new foreclosed realization. Thanks for your write-up.

In accordance with my observation, after a in foreclosure home is bought at an auction, it is common with the borrower to be able to still have the remaining unpaid debt on the mortgage. There are many lenders who try and have all charges and liens paid by the subsequent buyer. On the other hand, depending on specified programs, regulations, and state laws and regulations there may be several loans which are not easily solved through the shift of financial products. Therefore, the duty still rests on the consumer that has got his or her property in foreclosure. Thank you for sharing your thinking on this site.

I hate saying this, because it gets leveled at me a lot, but I think people are missing a very, very important part. The bordello stuff? That is NOT Babydoll's world- it's Sweetpea's. It says straight-up at the very beginning of that part that "I'm the star of this show". And when people say it was boring I'm kind of curious what movie they were watching. Some parts were so intense for me that they made me flinch, but I was never BORED.

Everyone is right that the characters lack development. But, in some ways, I think this movie is more of a send-up of action movies then an actual action movie. And I find it really interesting that everyone's harping on their lack of characterization in this film, and nobody does that on movies like say, Die Hard, where the characters are just as cardboard cut-out, if not more so.

I've already given my defense on why I think this movie is not supposed to be titillating, and I really have a hard time seeing why anyone would. But I feel sort of ambivalent about the "empowerment" thing. I don't think this movie is supposed to be "empowering". This is more of a "This is the worst part of the world women live in". I would compare it to the movie "Taken" if only told from the point of view of the women instead of the father.

I've got three jobs right now- I drive a kid to and from work, I do laundry at the same household, and I drive around thrift stores looking for gold to sell. None of these jobs are terribly well-paying, and not a one of them required a college degree. Right now I'm in the "treading water" stage of loans- I can only afford to pay the interest. So, still pretty sucktastic.

The story is too intricate, but it saves a lot the movie soundtrack.
There are too many references and elements from all kinds of styles (video games, manga, Gothic, steam-punk, sexploitation)
I believe that men will appreciate this film :D
