Mitt will say anything to win the next election, and right now it’s a Republican primary.
In that, he’s different from most Republicans, who have some sexism or racism or bloodthirst that they want to stick to. It’s why I think he’s the least dangerous Republican candidate — I think he’s willing to be reasonable if that’s where the votes are, which is much more than I can say of Huckabee or Palin.
