Because I know I’m not the only one who finds the whole “Disney Princess” schtick incredibly annoying, even infuriating depending upon the aspect of it I’m considering, on almost every level.

    So true, and yet so difficult to avoid.

    Try telling your 4 year old daughter that Disney is off the Christmas list!

    We went to great lengths to keep her toys as educational and/or gender-neutral as possible last year (playmobil, Duplo etc) but pink, fluffy and anthropomorphic still crept back in.

    We’ve compromised this year, so she’ll ONLY be getting a DP duvet cover…

    And a Cinderella doll. And a Prince Charming doll. And a fairy castle.

    Oh bugger.
