But I do have a lot on my mind, about precisely the issues that the link you're referring to me takes up. I've been arguing a lot recently with a very good friend over just the issue that Greta Christina takes on: voting for Obama as "supporting the lesser evil" vs voting for Obama as "harm reduction". Neither his nor Christina's arguments sway me yet-- it's not that they are fundamentally unreasonable, it's just that we have a fundamental difference in the axioms we start our reasoning with. (And by the way, I'm not looking for <i>perfection</i> in a candidate. Really! But I need <i>some</i> ray of sunshine to grasp on to.) Tell you what, I'll try to write a short one tonight outlining my views. Doubt it'll sway anyone, but maybe it'll at least tide you over for a bit!
