Two personal updates I would like to share with all you Punkassers.
First, I have been formally accepted into law school, I start on the 18th of August. I already have about 200 pages to read for the first day of class 
.
Second, there is a new addition to mine and Hubby’s little family. Yes, I’ve finally taken the plunge, and taken the feminist pet of choice*: a kitty cat. She’s a sweet calico, who we decided to name “Merow”. Our friend, Foreigner, caught her and her siblings abandoned near our creek.
She is a frightened little thing, but she’s getting used to Hubby and I pretty rapidly. She’s also really dumb- five minutes into my room she got her head stuck under the heating unit, and she continually falls of the bed and the window sill. She’s really sweet most of the time, although right now we’re trying to teach her that 4 am is not the ideal time to be zooming around the bedroom and attacking our feet.
*Well, second. There’s always the “emasculated male” they they talk about that marry feminists. It’s actually somewhat funny to my martial art fighting, jet-flying, Hubby that he’s “emasculate”.
Yay! Congrats on the formal acceptance! And on the new kitty!
Yay for law school!
