Pro-Life Organizations- A little Help Please
Published by Antigone July 25th, 2008 in Punkass!Could someone please tell me how to upload an Excel file onto a blogpost? I’m completely lost on this one, and I’d like to share my data about pro-life organizations. If I have to save it as an image file, and post it that way, I can do that too.
Is there a way to import the data from Excel into Word as HTML? Because that would be awesome.
Barring that, open Word and import the spreadsheet into a table. Then it should be prettier for being screenshot and uploaded as an image.
I think Excel has an export as HTML option in the File menu. Do that, then open the file in Notepad, copy out the <table>…</table> part and paste it into the post.
You might prefer to use this macro, which claims and appears to produce cleaner HTML than the gunk Excel spits out.
Alternately, export it as CSV and e-mail it to me. :p (No, for reals… Or you could dump the CSV into an unpublished page here, I think.)
You should be able to upload it to Google Doc, which will (I think) give you an embed code.
Oy, none of this stuff seems to be helping. Fudge.
