…and now, some GOOD news

From the best of all possible worlds.

Funny how getting good news — even when it’s completely fabricated — can make you feel so… well… good.

By the way, I KNOW that in internet years, this is, like, a decrepit old codger. But it came into my mind since we’ve been talking about media, and I just had to share it, for the sake of any poor people who hadn’t yet felt the joy. The first time I read it, I got goosebumps and a lump in my throat.

I’m pretty disappointed that now there’s a big “Read the story behind the fake news stories” link at the top of the page. Before, there was no giveaway anywhere. You could just close your eyes and imagine it was real for a while. A missive from a possible future, where everything goes absolutely, wonderfully right, starting from right… now.

    Wow, you’re right.

    That was surprisingly effective, somehow.
