I saw that this morning and started cracking up at “OMG SHE’S THE 14TH WOMAN TO DIE FROM TAKING THIS DRUG!! 14!!1!” The sorrow the families of those 14 women feel notwithstanding, that’s a pretty fucking good record for a prescription drug and well below acceptable levels. You know how many people die from non-prescription, mild pain killers like aspirin, ibuprofen, and acetametaphine? THOUSANDS. EVERY YEAR.
I’ve lost interest in the Wingnutsexhater Clearinghouse Blog since they closed the comments, though. I guess they didn’t have enough fainting couches at headquarters to deal with the nasty comments coming from the non-Godbags.
I should ignore them, but HotMamma is something else. I’m still boggled by the idea that they can allow people that stupid to blog and still claim to be an educational clearinghouse. Someone has to be able to step in and make the madness stop.
