Published by violet May 9th, 2008 in sharing the awesomeFor the last week or so, I’ve been telling people, “you know what I want? I want Jet Set Radio Future and The Itty Bitty Titty Committee to get together and have beautiful, free-running radical lesbian babies.”
Then I saw Mirror’s Edge.
Which isn’t exactly what I had in mind, but still… “Whoa.” Parkour! Fluid movement! The central character is a woman! A non-white woman, in fact, with a normal-if-athletic body and pragmatic clothes! And reading the previews, it sounds like there may be (gasp) more characters like her.
It’s a total Dramamine game, but that’s okay, because I just restocked.

If I weren’t already so bouncy of late, I’d feel the urge to ask the universe for more stuff.
