The sheer numbers of men broken by porn consumption tend to make me listen twice to arguments by the Robert Jensens and Andrea Dworkins of the world, even as I detect a strong streak of prudishness to them. But honestly, if men like this don’t get broken by porn, they get broken by something else. Probably anti-choice activism.
That was the first personal to catch my eye, but even in my area, with it’s scanty craigslist use, things got worse from there. I may go back to post on another one later.
And since when is it appropriate to use as your personal photo a poorly cropped picture of you and a 1/4 of a girl that was clearly your last girlfriend?
The women seeking men section was hilarious: a smattering of actual women, usually older, a bunch of too-good-to-be-true young hotties looking for anonymous sex with older men, and a bunch of guys pleading with other guys to recognize and flag the obvious porn site spam. “A four-line ad that includes her bust size is not real! Flag that shit!”

Ads with younger women seeking anon. sex that use words about “daddy”, “older man”, and especially “generous” are advertisements from prostitutes seeking clients. Basically 100% of them. The men reading the ads know the code words, but it’s mostly about maintaining enough plausible deniability to keep the cops out of it.
Apparently my area craigslist is so depressing that real hookers can’t even be bothered. According to the whining guys, a significant amount of those posts go to porn sites. The hookers are still listing in the back of Scene and the Free Times.
Er, Kyso… I know I’m possibly nitpicking, but I’ve been staring at that post for ten minutes and I really wish you’d distinguish between “hooker” and escort. I’m not in favor of either, but there is a huge difference between working out of a hotel room and being able to screen clients vs picking up strangers on corners, ya know?
