This isn't actually the first time I'm come across the concept of mineral water ice cubes. In this children's book, however, the idea was used as an example to demonstrate the fastidiousness (is that a word?) and lack of consideration of the anti-hero.

wow, that's a tough call... it seems to be pure douchbaggery, though.

that music just exudes sophistication, don't it?

I went to their website. Are we sure it's not a joke? Because that is one douchebaggy site. If it's not a joke, then we're screwed:

WaterBank of America (USA) Inc. has recognized the World-Wide crisis relative to depleted fresh water resources and, as its mission, has committed itself to the accumulation and preservation of some of these priceless resources to be utilized as future reserves are required.

While providing a commercialized wealth platform for its investors, WaterBank intends to play an important role in the preservation of the world’s vital fresh water resources for future generations.

I'm not so sure I like to see the terms "priceless resource" and "commercialized wealth platform" together on a site about water.

This may not be the ultimate in conspicuous consumption, but it ranks in the top ten, I'm sure.

That's a given. We're talking about blithely ignorant consumerism here.

no, sorry andrew, it still makes no sense... unless you believe we should all be allowed to live however the fuck we'd like regardless of how inherently reckless and destructive that lifestyle may be.

Does frozen toast exist? At least mineral ice cubes make sense if you want to avoid contamination of your mineral water with tap water.

Surely it's less effort to put water in the tray and put it in the freezer than to go to the store to buy this product. Who is this product marketed at, anyway?

I can't even imagine that frozen toast would be good. The idea of toast is that it's crispy, but if you put it in the microwave it would get soggy. Or maybe you're supposed to put it in the oven, which you would just do with regular bread anyway. The whole concept makes my brain hurt.

And here I thought they'd never top frozen toast. Not to Godwin your thread right off the bat, but the phrase "banality of evil" comes to mind.
