Of course, if Stepp betrayed any awareness that genderbending was rather common among rock stars back in the day, or that his long hair and silk scarves did not condemn Mick Jagger to a life of celibacy, she would have a harder time arguing that the lace on Johnny Depp’s wrist is either new or noteworthy.
