Published by Kyso Kisaen May 12th, 2007My roommate just brought an X-Box 360 home. It is one sexy box. And I mean sexy. The damn thing is actually vaugely shaped like a woman’s torso. I suspect one of those little doors actually hides a hole you can masturbate in.
Upon hearing my “thing looks like a disembodied female torso” theory, I was roundly shouted down and decleared to be crazy. Then, without missing a beat, boyfriend observes: ‘people seem to like to stand it on it’s side like that. I haven’t seen many people lay it flat.’ Roommate then declared that you could make it look less girly by getting the camouflage one, and decided to completely miss the point when I said that a woman in a cammo bathing suit is still a woman.

It might just be the angle of this photo, but I”m sort of not seeing it. Unless there’s actually a bit of an hourglass shape to it, when you look at it head-on?
I was more bothered by the erection that is the DVD drive, myself.
It’s got an hourglass shape from both the front and the side, this picture kind of covers it up a bit.
The graphics are excellent, though. Quite impressive.
Ugh, 3D hourglass? That’s… unfortunate, is what that is. It’d damn well better have good graphics, since it’s obviously intended to replace sex altogether.

Wow. I can’t see how any sane person couldn’t draw the same conclusion you did. It’s like a faux hour-glass shape. Are these people naturally incapable of disceerning subtleties? I say subtleties, despite the simple fact that it is positively unsubtle.
Of course, my friends who had a Nintendo 64 growing up always compared its controller (similar to the XBox’s) to a two-pronged dildo, to which I usually replied “Have you ever seen a vulva?! Jesus Christ, are you high?” They’d laugh it off, so I suppose your experience is not uncommon…
Gotta say, I have one and I really don’t see it (apparently I’m not sane?). The official line from Microsoft is that the original X-box was an ‘exhale’ (convex on both sides) so they made this one an ‘inhale’ (concave). Whereas I think they just suckered Sony into making a convex one and looking, like, SO last platform.
Also, ours is horizontal, and my male partner set it up!
i’ve already checked and there’s no place to put your penis in that machine.
I can sort of see how you could get “female silhouette” out of it, but it’s not as blatant as, say, a Coca-Cola bottle.
I remember Coca Cola running ads based on that premise.
