According to a Gender Genie, junk science is a woman, marc is a woman some of the time and a guy the rest of the time, and I appear to be all man.

Apparently I’m a man too. Which is probably going to distress my children when they find out.

Aww, I’m male too. The boyfriend won’t be happy.

  3. 3 Not A Troll (just another girl)

Mine come out very consistently male. Interesting.

I always knew Kyso’s was bigger than mine.

And apparently I’m a woman. So the question is, how many people had their correct sex predicted? Are the more sexually-predictable among us just choosing not to post because the results aren’t interesting?

It predicted that I am female, which I am. I submitted a male acquaintance’s blogular essay, and it predicted that he is female, which he is not. For shits and giggles, I then submitted a nonfiction essay by a female friend, as well as a blog by the same, and it predicted that she is male, which she is not.

    I think it’s a crapshoot.

Yeah, this thing thinks I’m super manly…

I entered a blog entry by Ann Coulter. Guess which way the Genie voted.

  9. 9 Auguste

    Male.

Well, my most recent blog post was written by a female, and the one before that was written by a male. I put in the latest post of a male contact and he is apparently female.

I’m not entirely convinced that this is at all scientific…

I believe the inclusion of “the” as a masculine word skews the results…

  12. 12 Kyso Kisaen

    Jack, you’re back!

  13. 13 Sophist

    Hmm. Female.

So…will someone be by later to pick up my testicles, or do I have to have to mail them in?

Mine came out male for both blogging and fiction writing. Which is odd, because my fiction is so character driven I have entire short stories with no plot. And no explosions! :D

Came out male (correctly) even when tested it on an essay I wrote on Georgia O’Keeffe, which contained about a page and a half on the topic of vaginas. I’m convinced.
