However, no one ever looks at the low-modded scores, so if I'm not out of moderation quick, then my post will be lost in the maze as comments go from 30 to 300 in a matter of hours. Comments don't get deleted; they just get moderated. Anonymous comments start at a score of 0, logged-in users at 1, and users who've been there for a while at 2. Different people read Slashdot at different thresholds; a higher-rated comment is more <i>likely</i> to be read, but I don't think your comment went through at all, as it's not even visible at the lowest level. However, there's a score-5 comment (highest-rated) <a href="http://yro.slashdot.org/comments.pl?sid=225668&cid=18275268" rel="nofollow">linking to feministe</a>, so it's as out-there as it can get.
