There are places where guys who are interested in feminism tend to go to have a reasonable discussion and maybe learn something, and there are places where angry guys with outsized senses of entitlement and resentment go to vent their spleens. I think the anonymity encourages some guys to try and outdo each other, and these are the ones who you can't reason with no matter what (check out Biting Beaver's page). And like you mention, even some of the seemingly more reasonable guys who hang on the periphery of these things, well, a lot of them aren't there to reflect on their world view and see if it's completely rational, they believe what they believe and they'll keep believing it regardless of any opposing evidence or whatever compelling arguments you make (and if you visit kos and check out some of the archives, you'll find that there are tons of guys who are supposedly on our side who repeat the same hoary old chestnuts about what a tough time American guys have living in a virtual matriachy, lol).
