Blogging will slow down even more for me over the next week as I head south for a week-long conference. Scratch that. It might pick up since I’m going alone and may very well die of boredom. I would vow to drink my way through the entire thing, but considering it’s a conference to get accredited as an addictions counselor and they don’t even allow smoke breaks, I am out of luck. Perhaps I will look for a non-clinician drinking buddy.
I have never lived in a college dorm before, and have been in one maybe four times, once to pull a major prank that was very much worth it, and nevertheless I will find myself living in the glory of communal showers and bunk beds from Sunday through Friday. Kill me.
