I’ve said it and said it and said it.
Maybe commenting is light on those posts because you believe me already, maybe it’s because you don’t care, or maybe it’s because you think I’m so wrong there’s no point in arguing.
If it’s the latter, please explain to me what Howard Dean was doing bleating for votes on the 700 Club:
Dean said this on the program:
“The Democratic Party platform from 2004 says that marriage is between a man and a woman. That’s what it says. I think where we may take exception with some religious leaders is that we believe in inclusion, that everybody deserves to live with dignity and respect, and that equal rights under the law are important.”
Please read Pam’s post; it’s thoroughly damning despite his lame two-faced backtrack afterwards. Of course, regardless of what he said, pandering to this audience is unacceptable. The only reason Dean should be on the 700 Club is to chastise them for their inflammatory suckitude.
He is now firmly entrenched as 1c) on my shit list behind everyone in BushCo. (they all tie for 1st) and John McCain. Dude is jamming our party hard.
I’m humiliated watching him grovel for votes like that.
Fuck. I obviously haven’t been paying enough attention to what our side is doing because I’m so busy being outraged over what the other side is doing. The Washington Blade story and the 700 Club thing are the last straws. Dean has fucked up one too many times. Never giving money to him again.
Sigh.
