I mean, like MORE than I hate the general idea.... It's how the singer seems to place THE WHOLE ENTIRE BLAME (sorry, I'll stop with the caps) for her neurotic behavior on mom. I mean, hullo? She had to break up with someone, right? So, unless her mom was a lesbian, there was a dude involved. Yet, Kelly's all hung up on how her mom screwed her up. Not to mention that we're a product of our parents' nurture to a point, and after we're grown up, we can change our mentality, should we want to do it and spend effort on it.
